Arto Vihavainen (with Petri Ihantola and Juha Sorva from Aalto University) received ACM SIGITE 2014 Best Paper Award for their work on Automatically Detectable Indicators of Programming Assignment Difficulty. The work is based on our department's MOOC and its TestMyCode engine that provides ample data for analytics.

Arto has amazing track-record for ACM SIGITE; he has received Best Paper Awards from SIGITE in 2011 (with Jaakko kurhila) and in 2013 (with Kenny Heinonen, Kasper Hirvikoski and Matti Luukkainen).
