The Department of Computer Science uses the content management system Drupal on its main www site. Because of Drupal version 6 security holes (and end of support) we had to hide Department's Drupal inside the firewall of the University and pages available on the outside are just shadowed from the inside server. This means that currently department's Drupal pages can only be edited through https://www-edit.cs.helsinki.fi/ URL, which is not available outside the department.

The separation of inside and outside www-services can cause many kinds inconsistent behaviour. Some pages, services or images can be temporarily unavailable if used or viewed from outside locations. Additionally, there can be a delay before content edited inside server is available on the outside server. The length of the possible delay will be specified later. We are aware of some problems but please send mail mail to it-support@cs.helsinki.fi if you find new problems, Things will probably settle during the first week of March.
