The open service ecosystem infrastructure in general provides facilities for

  • service oriented software engineering to create service and collaboration models and service implementations;
  • service discovery and selection;
  • eContract negotiation;
  • monitoring of collaborations;
  • providing communication channels between participating service agents;
  • eContract changes;
  • breach detection and recovery processing;
  • dissolution of collaborations;
  • experience information collection for further improvement of the ecosystem service portfolio, the quality of ecosystem services, and trusting relationship knowledge between ecosystem partners.

In technical working environmens these facilites are provided as follows:

  • web services environment for service oriented computing
    • WS application development, UDDI, Business process enactment with distributed BP engines, ESB, recommendation system
  • Pilarcos environment for service ecosystem building (to be made available soon)
    • model and application creation using model-driven engineering; populator, eContract negotiation, open bindings, monitoring, breach recovery, reputation-based trust management
  • Android facilities to come for connecting mobile devices for the collaborations created and managed on above technology platforms
    • to be selected soon.
