Interaction techniques will be introduced for multi-modal, adaptive, social, and affective computing. Established development approaches and tools will be presented including user modeling, interaction design, and interaction prototyping platforms. The course will give opportunity to students to develop a state-of-the-art interactive system on one of the topics of the course. Course book: J. A. Jacko, A. Sears:The Human-Computer Interaction Handbook: Fundamentals, Evolving Technologies and Emerging Applications (Human Factors and Ergonomics), 2nd ed., Lawrence Erlbaum Associates, 2008.
