The group works on ubiquitous computing in mobile environments, in particular on context recognition and personalisation. The group works in a multidisciplinary environment in close collaboration with other research groups of HIIT and in national and international collaborative projects. The activities related to local distributed algorithms is described under New Paradigms in Computing.
