The Collaborative Networking (CoNe) group's research focuses on large-scale distributed systems and network applications which are based on nodes cooperating voluntarily. Examples of such systems are peer-to-peer networks, information-centric networks, and pervasive networks. The work focuses on investigating architectures and mechanisms for designing, prototyping, and testing of future networks. The goal of the work is to understand how future networks should be designed and built.
