Software Factory Project is an intensive software development course. Participants are directly involved in all aspects of the project, from design and programming to project management and quality assurance. The course is typically done in cooperation with an external partner. The course also includes participation as a research subject. Participants are automatically enrolled to the course 582516 Software Factory Work Experience (5-7 cr) and get a total of 11-13 cr. The primary teaching language is English. The number of participants is limited. Candidates are invited to an online interview after registering.

General
In this project, Software Factory will collaborate with Tellybean, a Helsinki-based startup that is developing an Android-based video-call system which connects to any TV. The Software Factory will help solve Tellybean's needs for device management, particularly continuous deployment of new software versions. Read more about Tellybean at http://tellybean.com/
We are looking for eager students who want to learn about Cloud technologies, continuous deployment, and how to structure projects to iteratively find the right solution to a business-level problem. Apart from core programming skills, this project needs a team with a diverse set of skills, including documentation, project management, architecture, security, and quality. Completing the course
Credit points are based on how many days per week a student participates in the project, as follows:
4 days/week: 5 cr
5 days/week: 7 cr
