General
The goal of the course is that the students familiarize themselves with some bioinformatics tools and data formats frequently used in the field.
In the context of the next-generation sequencing (NGS), the project consists in developing a variation calling pipeline, which is nowadays a widely used method to obtain the genotype of a human organism.
The students are encouraged to work in groups of 2 -3 persons.
