Registration fees

Author's registration deadline: 10 June 2011
Early bird registration deadline: extended to 20 June 2011

To be published in the IEEE [name of event] Conference Proceedings and IEEE Xplore®, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the full (member or non-member) rate and the paper must be presented at the conference.  Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper.  For authors with multiple accepted papers, one full registration is valid for up to 3 papers.  Accepted and presented papers will be published in the IEEE [name of event] Conference Proceedings and in IEEE Xplore®.  

Content of different packages

• Student and workshop registration include a ticket to the reception.
• For both students and non-students, workshop registration includes the workshop and short paper proceedings, and main conference registration includes the conference proceedings; a registration to the full event ("all") contains both proceedings. Extra proceedings will be sold at the conference.
• Please note that in the EDOC series, conference short papers are included in the EDOCW proceedings book, which also contains the workshop papers.
• Additional dinner tickets will be sold at the conference for 100 EUR per. Additional proceedings books are also available (15 eur for either, 30 eur for both). If you know already you wish to buy extras, please contact us at edoc2011-local@cs.helsinki.fi beforehand and we can have them waiting for you at the registration desk. (We can take credit card payments beforehand and save a moment of hassle at the desk as well.)

  We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards. Payments are handled by Luottokunta card payment service and Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode.

Students

Proof of Student ID is required. Note that for accepted papers, at least one of the authors must register as a non-student (also when the paper is a student paper).

Please have your advisor or faculty send an email confirmation of your student status within seven (7) days of registering to: edoc2011-local (at) cs.helsinki.fi.

Visa issues

Please send direct requests for confirmation of conference participation to edoc2011-local (at) cs.helsinki.fi.
Please note: As we need to inform the ministry officials of the relationship we have with the visa applicants, we will only consider confirmations to those individuals who have either
          o submitted an accepted paper to the conference or
          o have registered as participants and paid their registration fees
and letters will be provided in pdf format. Letters will be provided only for participants with indications of research or development on EDOC related fields.
Please include your name, organisation, date of birth, address, passport number and purpose and length of visit.

Receipts

Receipts will be distributed at the conference. If you need a receipt earlier, please do not hesistate asking one by email.

Credit card problems?
If your local credit card company does not directly recognize Luottokunta, you may get an error message suggesting you are not allowed to do this transaction. In such cases we can provide you with contact information for your company to certify Luottokunta as a existing party; please contact our financial chair Toni Ruokolainen (toni.ruokolainen (at) cs.helsinki.fi).
