Guest lecture
Mr Paul J. Crutzen, a Dutch national, is best known for his research on
ozone depletion. He shares the Nobel Prize in Chemistry 1995 with Mario J.
Molina and F. Sherwood Rowland. They received the prize "for their work in
atmospheric chemistry, particularly concerning the formation and
decomposition of ozone". He lists his main research interests as
stratospheric and tropospheric chemistry, and their role in the
biogeochemical cycles and climate.
