Title: Augmenting Interaction with Haptic and Audio Feedback
Abstract: This talk will detail an exploratory field study of a mobile game with crossmodal audio and tactile feedback. This research focuses on the longitudinal effects on performance with audio and tactile feedback, the impact of context such as location and situation on performance and personal modality preference. Based on the results of this study and previous work, I will briefly describe some potential areas for future research such as remote interpersonal communication and multi-touch multimodal feedback.
