The duties of the financial and HR secretary include invoicing, budget follow-up, writing employment contracts, Sole allocations, international affairs, and induction of new employees.
Further duties include emptying the dishwasher, grocery and liquor shopping, defrosting the freezer, and organising coffees. :)
How did you end up at the Department of Computer Science?
“First, I worked in the service centre for 2.5 years. At that time, I handled CS department projects as financial secretary. I wanted a change and I wanted to learn more, so I decided to apply for the temp position, though that meant I had to quit my permanent contract and take a temporary one.”
What else would you like to tell us?
“I’m really happy that we could make my contract permanent. I’ve enjoyed working at the department. All my colleagues are nice and we have a good sense of community.”
