Tekes has opened a call Challenge Finland competiton for universities, research organisations and companies. Purpose of this call is to produce solutions to major challenges but also connect research and companies R&D activities.
Two phased call
The call has two phases. Phase I is for universities and phase II for joint projects of universities and companies.
In phase I those researches who would like to pitch their idea to Tekes should send one page proposal to cf@tekes.fi by 23rd of February 2016. Infoevent (https://tapahtumat.tekes.fi/tapahtuma/challenge_finland_info) will be held 29th of February (place and time to be confirmed).
Positive experience of the support services
Researchers who have been interested in commercialising their research ideas Research Services and Helsinki Innovation Services HIS have organised support since year 2013 with excellent results.
If you wish to have support for proposal preparation especielly from the commercialisation perspective send the one page proposal also to address impact@helsinki.fi by 23rd of February. We try to help all the applicants who have send the one page proposal to us.
Funders wish
Tekes wishes that researchers would utilize the commercializaton etc support offered by the organisation when applying from this funding instrument.
