You don't need to pay the sports fee to participate, but you need to have your staff or student id with you. You need indoor shoes and also a floorball stick for floorball turns. Floorball sticks can be rented from the sports center. We are playing only for fun, so anyone is welcome to participate, regardless of sports skills. You don't need to speak or understand finnish.

Please, register your participation to floorball turns using Doodle. For indoor and outdoor football turn registration we use FMI's registration system with user account tktl and password potkii. The registration is only needed for cancelling turns when there is not enough players, so feel free to participate even when you forgot to register.

The university's sports services

Paying the sports fee

The department will pay 50 % of the sports fee for full time employees of the department (with contract 6 months at least), i.e. including employees who are contracted to work at least 20 hours a week. The sports fee gives you access to the gym, exercise classes, and reserved ball games in all of the University Sports Services centers. In addition, the sports fee will gain you reduced prices for other services that the University Sports Services offers for additional fees and for the services of its cooperation partners. The sports fee is personal, and cannot be transferred to another person. Activate your sports fee in person (by fetching a sports sticker) at one of the University Sports centers. The 'sports period' must start inside 30 days of activating the sports fee.

The updated list with the names of employees who have the right to 50 % subsidized sports fees during this contract period is now delivered to the university's sports centers. Any questions please contact Inka Kujala D237 (inka.kujala(at)cs.helsinki.fi).
