Summary in Finnish: Tapahtuma on kaikille tietojenkäsittelytieteilijöille ja alasta kiinnostuneille. Tapahtuman kieli on pääosin englanti.

If you are working on Computer Science or interested in the field, this event is for you. The CS people in Finland gather together in Helsinki and Espoo, August 31 - September 1.

This year the theme is Data Science & AI. Do we need data science and what is its relationship to AI? Where is the AI research going at the moment, and where after the next 10 and 20 years? The symposium seeks answers to these questions, among others. The program is targeted to a general CS audience -- you need not be an AI expert.

The program also includes traditional award sessions. The first day (Aug 31) we join the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the CS department of UH, which also include a scientific program.

The event is organized by the Finnish Society for Computer Science, the CS departments of University of Helsinki and Aalto University, and the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology.
