A user can select a single element by clicking on the desired element. Or, the user can click on the select tool in the toolbar and click on the element to select it.
A user can select multiple elements at the same time by clicking the left button of mouse at a point on the left upper corner of the leftmost element and drag the mouse while clicking to the right/down side, until all the desired elements are selected.
