Project in Information-Theoretic Modeling

This documentation covers the compression methods and bit-juggling done during the course Project in Information-Theoretic Modeling held at the University of Helsinki’s Department of Computer Science in the fall of 2014.

The documentation is split into parts as follows:

• Group – monty_python contains information about the group and work done by each individual during the course
• General Methods contains information of the compression and decompression methods as a whole.
• Default Data Files covers the files given by the course staff
• Penalty Data Files covers the files submitted by the groups taking the course
