Three Concepts: Information

Term paper

Term paper is a short article (about 10-20 pages, 12pt font with reasonable margins!) on a selected course-related topic. Term paper IS NOT a translated (or non-translated) copy of a single source, but a synthesis of existing ideas and your own ideas for narrow enough topic to be manageable in a regular conference paper format.

By default you are expected to write the term paper on one of the poster topics (either the topic of your own poster, or any other poster). Unlike the projects or the poster, this is NOT team work, but everyone writes a term paper on his/her own.

Also other topics suggested by the students are possible (and encouraged), but they must be first approved by the course lecturer.

The term papers can be written either in Finnish or in English.

The term paper deadline is Thursday, December 13th.
