How do I run the Morphon XMLEditor?

To run the XMLEditor run the appropriate startup file. Unix uses shell scripts (.sh) and windows uses batch files (.bat). In similar fashion, running the CSSEditor simply involves running the appropriate startup file. In addition, for Windows users, clicking on the executable jar file XMLEditor.jar will start the editor.

The XMLEditor recognizes certain commandline parameters. The syntax is XMLEditor [-file file_name|[-dtd dtd_file_name [-rootelement rootelement_name]]] [-style style_file_name] where

file is the xmlfile to load
dtd is the dtd to use for starting a new document
rootelement is the name of the element that should become the rootelement for the new document
style is the name of the CSS file to sue for styling the document

The names of the files to use can be paths and even URL's.

If you have installed the XMLEditor using the Install-wizard, it suffices to click the shortcut created at install or calling 'XMLEditor' or 'run XMLEditor' on a Unix computer.
