IEEE NO ROBOTS Policy
The IEEE wishes to promote appropriate usage of its
content through the IEEE Xplore'99 site and encourage
proper access among all users. Robots or intelligent
agents damage the performance of the system, and are
an improper use of IEEE Xplore'99.
IEEE regularly monitors site activity to identify systematic
downloading. Suspicious activity will result in suspension
of service to the individual user as well as to the subscribing
institution. Continued violations will result in cancellation
of our subscription.
Downloading the database or any portion of a publication's
issue or volume in a systematic fashion is strictly prohibited.
The use of robots or intelligent agents on the site is a viola-
tion of our subscription license agreement with the IEEE.
IEEE Use Permissions
Authorized users are allowed to perform the following actions:
View and search the content of the Licensed Products;
Download a single article for the individual use of an Authorized User;
Print individual articles from the Licensed Products for individual use;
Make a reasonable number of photocopies of a printed article for use
by other Authorized Users.
Authorized Users are NOT permitted to perform the following actions:
Use robots or intelligent agents to access, search and/or systematically
download any portion of the Licensed Products;
Transmit electronically via email or any other file transfer protocols,
any portion of the IEEE XploreTM database;
Sell the content of IEEE XploreTM or combine it with any other material;
Allow anyone other than an Authorized User to use or access the Licensed
Products.
