Happens during boot right after the RAID checksumming speed is calculated
I don't have CONFIG_HIGHMEM
This is booting from floppy to a RAID5 system:

Compiler is:
gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314/Linux (egcs-1.1.2 release) with libio from
current gcc cvs (as of 4 Jan) to overcome indstream.cc compile problems with
new glibc-2.2
