After upgrade from 2.2 to 2.4 kernel machine stopped answering IPv6 neighbor solicitation requests on pointtopoint interfaces.
Response from machine running 2.2 kernel:

After upgrade to 2.4 kernel, I do not receive any answer from fe80::3e8c:1d09. Routing, etc. works without it perfectly, but for example OSPF6 daemon does not.
