i am compiling kernel 2.4.2 and using that to boot my PC (using lilo).
i get the error
Uncompressing Linux......
ran out of input data ...
System Halted !
how can i get rid of this problem. i haven't added any new code in the
kernel. it is the existing kernel-2.4.2 from redhat7.1
