Re: partition detection failure between 2.4.19-pre2 and pre3

If you say so, but I'm observing a distinct change in behavior, and well
before the type of the file system gets involved. There are several
different file systems involved however, ext2, ext3, fat32, and ntfs.

If there's some specific changes you'd like me to try to back out of -pre3
or apply to -pre2 for purposes of narrowing this down more, I'll be glad
to.
