The patch to the PnP BIOS driver that was in 2.5.7-dj and which
just went into 2.5.8-pre1 did not include Brian Gerst's SMP fix.
I append it below. Dave: Please feed to Linus.

The pnpbios driver in 2.4.19-pre-ac is up to date. Alan: Please
