All,
Here is my re-synced cyclone-timer patch against 2.4.20-pre4 for use
with x440 systems. You'll want to grab James Cleverdon's summit patch
before trying this one.

"This options allows you to pass "cyclone" as a boot option to make use
of a performance counter on the Cyclone chipset for calculating
do_gettimeofday, greatly improving performance when compared to the PIT
based method."
