I'm certainly willing to grant that things may have improved since the last 
time I used LVM.  I hope they have.  

It's like the first time you taste sour milk.  You just never forget the 
taste it leaves in your mouth.  LVM tastes the same to me, though it may be 
completely stable/viable now.  <rant off>
