Shouldn't /proc/mdstat have [UUUUU] instead of [_UUUU]? Perhaps
this is running in degraded mode. Also, you have 'algorithm 0',
whereas my raid5 has 'algorithm 2', which is the left-symmetric
parity algorithm.
