working kdebug

Is there any working kdebug ? I tried kdebug-1.8, xkdebug but
they seem broken. After patching the kernel kernel and recompilation
I ran it.

Now I'm waiting and waiting and waiting and....

Strace shows that gdb does:

write(6, "$Hc-1#09", 8) = 0

etc......

Any ideas ?
