Yes, why not keeping this "waste" as little as possible?

Do you plan to do the same kind of patch for 2.1.x kernel? It would be
very useful too.

Is anybody working on the run-time non-blocking function detector whose
idea was recently (one month ago?) submitted by Alan and friends? This
could be very useful too.
