Email the patch to Linus, ask him to include it in the kernel. That
improves visibility of the patch --==** A LOT **==--.
When it is just a patch floating around on the net, people for whom it
doesn't work will just ignore it. When it's in the standard kernel,
those people will be forced to have a look at it.
