This was the 1st time I saw this.

yes. This machine has been running for about a year this way (with whatever
kernel was the latest stable kernel last Dec. .28 or.29 I do not recall).
This just started last month. The machine has been rock solid otherwise.
BTW multiple kernel compiles as of last week are just fine, Ie: no sig 11's
or anything like that.

I cannot recall I think /proc/pci gives you the info you are looking for. If
it does not let me know and I will find the manual and look it up.

Medium devsel. Fast back-to-back capable. Master Capable. No bursts.

Host bridge: Intel 82437VX Triton II (rev 2).
Medium devsel. Master Capable. Latency=32.

What course of action do you suggest?
