Could be, but there _is_ a bug somewhere in the Linux networking code. I
ran some rather difficult tests to see what was happening... The IP header
is ok. The actual TCP data is ok. However, the IP header does not belong
to that data segment. And, it's not the network card as I've used several
different cards from several manufacturers on different machines.
I've not had any time to look any further than the hundreds of megs of
data from the tests. The only "clue" is that there is a slow link in the
traffic flow... PPP, ISDN, 100->10M ether, etc.
