It is in the CVS tree. Im not yet happy to merge it into the main tree
and it needs a lot more testing via future CVS snapshot releases first.
Im really not sure what to do with it - it touches stuff thats important
kernel innards and we are on the feature freeze, but its also a valuable
addition
