You seem to have misapplied the patch. si_uid16 doesn't exist
in arch/i386/kernel/signal.c at all. A grep on the kernel sources of
2.3.41-pre2 shouldn't give you any occurence of si_uid16 (just checked
with a fresh tarball and patch).
