Sirs,
I just got a new Maxtor 27GB IDE Drive (7200rpm), which is detected
properly by the BIOS.
Motherboard : SiS 5591 (Serial/Version etc:
03/20/98-SiS5591-SMC669-2A5IKJ19C-00)
However, Linux (Slackware Linux 7.0, Kernel 2.2.13) detects the HDD as a
8063 MB disk.
Also, Windows (95 OSR2) has properly detected, formatted and used the 27
GB hard disk (on FAT32)
Could you please suggest a way around this?
the boot messages file (dmesg) and the partition table (fdisk) are
attached.
Thanks.
Hrishikesh Mehendale.
