Probably the TLB flush buglet - it hits some machines and not others.

Try the current 2.3.44 pre-patch (up to pre-7 right now - I'm churning
them out at a rapid pace to make sure that people who do network driver
fixes for the new interfaces can always sync up to my current tree).
