I got myself an el-cheapo winbond 840 based NIC, which is not supported
by Linux out of the box. So I downloaded the driver from cesdis, but it
does not compile with recent 2.3 kernel versions.

Has anyone ported the code to pre3?
The driver initialization interface in the kernel has changed quite a
lot. I got the driver to compile, but since I don't understand the PCI
initialization, I am at loss here.
