ide problem

I have a 4096 bytes per block and 4,3GB ide harddrive and it works fine
when I boot, but after some minutes it hangs, If I reboot it come back
to work fine.

Does anyone know if there is a ide bug in 2.2.x or this is a hardware
problem?
