Question on bttv & sound

Hello all,
I have an interesting problem. When I load the bttv driver i hear the
audio of whatever TV channel my zoltrix device is at. However, once I
load xawtv or kwintv the sound stops! Then upon exiting the app I hear
the sound again.
Any suggestions???
