I was happy to see YMF-740C support in 2.4.0-test2 (I haven't been
keeping track of releases lately - is this new?) and couldn't wait to
try it out on my Intel motherboard (440BX chipset - I forget the exact
name of the motherboard.) The module loaded just fine and reported
the chipset, but when I poked around at /dev/dsp, the machine hung and
needed a hard reboot.
Not much of a bug report, I know, but I'll send more details when I
recompile with kdb and hook up a cable to the serial port. I was just
wondering if anyone else had noticed this?
Regards,
Robert.
