3 weirdness in 2.4.0-test2

dear sir,

download and compile 2.4.0-test2 and observed these 3 weirdness, (bug?)
system is Red Hat 6.2, with Pentium 133 and 64MB. 

weird #1. netscape-navigator 4.72 core dump. doing "strings core" give the
following few lines (i am not a kernel hacker to debug the core);

netscape 4.72 work fine on 2.4.0-test1. update to netscape 2.73 but netscape
hang and produce some weird behaviours. (e.g display blank pages for a good
sites)

weird #2. man doesn't work. just give blank.

weird #3. just gut felling. process 250 pages document with latex "seem" to
be faster than on 2.4.0-test1.
