Since my request for help in documenting the ata/ide subsystem, there has
been a rush of folks to offer help. As I have proven, most techies are
lousy Documentation writers. There may be other kernel developers pressed
for time and skill to quantify changes/features for the general community.
What is the process needed to allow folks with talent that I do not have
to truly contribute and return back to the OSC in ways that do matter.
Would a "linux-kernel-documentation@vger.rutgers.edu" be the best model?
Any ideas are welcome, I would really hate to see the technical writer
talent in Linux go to waste. IMHO, the base of this resource pool could
be (self) direct to be the evanglist forum to counter attacks or general
promotion.
This is the correct location for the discusion, because it describes the
features and power of the Linux kernel and GNU/OS (plug for RMS)...
Cheers,
Andre Hedrick
