I don't know what the official approach would be, but when I try to compile
more or less recent developer kernels with the processor family set to
"Athlon/K7", it bails out not finding the macro "current" (when set to SMP) or
"smp_num_cpus" (UP).
I tried to shuffle around various header files (notably asm/current.h), but to
no avail. I used the PentiumII/Celeron/whatever setting as a workaround, but
I'd like to test the Athlon optimizations if possible.
