Seagate Drives default to the fastest native drive transfer rate, and not
the limits of the host-adapter. This is the number one suspect in the
blown DRQ reports in non-DMA setups..
The drive will accept writes to the drive at any speed, but reads from the
host have to be limited to the speed of the host.
