Forgive me if this is a stupid question, however I've noticed the
following:
When I boot a 2.2.14 Kernel:
Jun 26 13:26:05 dhcp-192-168-7-4 kernel: Calibrating delay loop...
349.80 BogoMIPS
But when I boot 2.4.0-test2:
Jun 26 14:54:29 cthulhu kernel: Calibrating delay loop... 699.60
BogoMIPS
I've looked at the calibrate_delay, __delay, and associated functions,
and I havn't noticed a difference in any of the code. Is there a reason
that the bogomips value is noticably different?
Thanks,
Jeff
