I have the same problem as Andreas Franck, system hang when doing big
access to disk (in my case cp -a /usr/src/linux in another place on the
same disk/partition).
I tried this on the console, and the following message is displayed
periodically : "hda : lost interrupt".
All the system is not blocked, but each disk acess is blocked, keyboard,
mouse (via gpm) work correctly.
