Is there any way to keep kapmd from showing up? It is kind of
misleading when you glance at cpu idle % and forget about kapmd.

Does kapmd really make a difference compared the HLT instruction? I
have since turned off CONFIG_APM_CPU_IDLE because of this annoyance, and
I can't say that I have noticed a difference with my battery life.
