No, I'm not working with them, but I did have a chat with them today.

Are you trying to tell me that I should 
# mount /proc/bus/usb -t usbdevfs /proc/bus/usb  ???

Nothing comes up in the list archive for either SanDisk or SmartMedia.
Strange, I would've thought there'd be something.
