Problems with isa-pnp and sb module from pre7 to test2

I have had my sb card (ESS 1868) running w/o problems until
the late pre series (pre7 it worked). Now since then it does
not load again. I am using the isa-pnp module without problems.

This is what I get:

If I look for /proc/isa-pnp this should work, it would like
to have IRQ 5 (which is already taken by my ISDN card), but
IRQ 9 is available (AGP card in here, so IRQ 9 is free).

So *please* do you have any hints on what I should try? A
"options sb irq=9 dma=1 io=0x220" used to work...
